LA DRA VICTORIA REY INTERVINO EN LAS III JORNADAS DE MEDICINA REPRODUCTIVA Y GINECOLOG\u00cdA DE VANGUARDIA CELEBRADAS AYER EN LA REAL ACADEMIA DE MEDICINA Y CIRUG\u00cdA DE SEVILLA, ORGANIZADAS POR CAREMUJER.<\/p>\n

La Dra. Victoria Rey en la III Jornada de medicina reproductiva y ginecolog\u00eda de vanguardia<\/h1>\n

Durante su ponencia , Rey explic\u00f3 que hasta ahora las t\u00e9cnicas usadas para eliminar miomas eran invasivas para la fertilidad del \u00fatero, sin embargo\u00a0 ha comprobado con el estudio que ha llevado a cabo que \u201cla radiofrecuencia consigue tratarlos preservando la fertilidad del \u00fatero\u201d.<\/p>\n

La radiofrecuencia empez\u00f3 a utilizarse hace diez a\u00f1os en pa\u00edses como Corea, Italia o Estados Unidos . La t\u00e9cnica se realiza bajo sedaci\u00f3n, sin anestesia, sin cirug\u00eda ni cicatrices gracias a una fina aguja que se introduce por la vagina y que aplica el calor en el interior del mioma. Hasta ahora esta t\u00e9cnica se ven\u00eda utilizando en c\u00e1ncer de h\u00edgado, hep\u00e1tico, pulm\u00f3n, osteoma osteoide y c\u00e1ncer de mama, siendo la Dra Rey la pionera en Europa en el desarrollo de esta t\u00e9cnica aplicada a los miomas.<\/p>\n

Este sistema supone un \u00e9xito absoluto en esta patolog\u00eda tan com\u00fan para las mujeres y que tantas molestias pueden llegar a suponer, adem\u00e1s permite tratar miomas que hasta ahora eran inaccesibles por su ubicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de este nuevo avance, se han tratado otros temas tan interesantes como la cirug\u00eda rob\u00f3tica de la mano del Dr Javier Magri\u00f1\u00e1 y la aplicaci\u00f3n de los mecanismos epigen\u00e9ticos subyacentes en la reducci\u00f3n de la fertilidad femenina.
